About this experience
By day three you'll have forgotten which day of the week it is. Five-day treks cover real distance, moving between multiple camp sites, crossing jungle rivers, and reaching parts of Gunung Leuser that most visitors never see. Wildlife sightings (wild orangutans, hornbills, siamangs, gibbons) get better with every kilometre further in. Your guides and porter handle everything: navigation, cooking, permits, camp. You carry a day pack. Return by Jungle Taxi (river tubing) on the final day.
