Every one of our trekking guides is registered with the Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) and certified by HPI, the official Indonesian Tourist Guide Association. That means legal Gunung Leuser park permits, mandatory training in ethical wildlife conduct and first aid, and always two guides per trek for your safety.

When the sun sets in Bukit Lawang, the jungle wakes up differently. Join a specialized night guide for a 2-3 hour walk through the darker trails.
